KRAFFT Low Starch Pellets is a low-sugar feed for horses in the form of granules, intended for animals requiring a metabolic diet. It contains only 4% starch and 6% sugar, so it can be an appropriate choice for horses with sensitive digestive system, which react poorly to cereal feed and animals susceptible to stomach problems. Feed does not contain molasses or whole grains of oats.
Energy in KRAFFT Low Starch Pellets comes mainly from fiber and fat, so it is released gradually and does not cause a rapid increase in agitation. The high fibre content of 20% supports proper digestion and functioning of the intestine. Feed can be used in recreational and sports horses, especially if they need a stable source of energy without a high amount of starch.
The composition includes living cultures of Levucell®SC yeast, which support beneficial intestinal microflora, fermentation processes and better use of fiber from the food dose. The product is certified BETA Feed Approach Mark, confirming its usefulness as part of a balanced diet of horses and forges susceptible to stomach ulcers.
The fodder contains, among others, alfalfa, green, beet pulp beetroot, wheat and oat bran, rapeseed oil and potato protein. It also provides vitamins and minerals needed for the proper feeding of the horse. Feed for ulcer horses KRAFFT Low Starch Pellets 20kg is a mixture with low starch and sugar content that supports digestion, intestinal microflora and gradual energy supply. It will work in horses with a sensitive stomach, horses susceptible to ulcers, animals susceptible to oats and requiring feeding without molasses.
The indicative daily dose is approximately 0,2–0,3 kg for each 100 kg body weight. A horse with a weight of 500 kg may receive approximately 1–1,5 kg feed daily, divided into several smaller meals. The quantity shall be adapted to the condition, working intensity and quality of the volumetric feed. Horses must be given constant access to fresh water and a sufficient amount of good quality hay.
