The SAMFARM brand has created a high-protein feed supplement for horses requiring support in building muscle mass, improving fitness and regeneration after exercise. A carefully developed formula provides valuable protein and diverse amino acids that help develop muscle tissue, expand the dorsal line, and maintain normal body weight. Feed will work well in feeding sports horses, intensively trained, older, lean and difficult to gain weight.
The formula does not contain cereals, soybeans, alfalfa, molasses or yeast, therefore it can be suitable for horses sensitive, allergic and demanding diets with limited sugar and starch content. Low glycemic index and energy derived from vegetable fats and fibers help to ensure gradual release of energy without sudden spikes of agitation. The mixture may also work in the diet of horses with metabolic problems after prior consultation with a veterinarian or a nutritionist.
Feed for horse for the construction of the mass contains, inter alia, linseed, sunflower, raspberries and horseradish, rice bran, beet pulp beets, grass and clover droughts and black currants. This combination provides protein, fat and fiber, supports the digestive system and helps maintain the body's health. Ostropest beneficially affects liver function, and blackcurrant drought is a natural source of antioxidants. On the other hand, the shepherd's supplement improves the tastyness of the mixture and can encourage the eating of horses with a weaker appetite.
Protein Plus feed SAMFARM should only be administered after soaking, as it contains ingredients naturally increasing volume under the influence of water. A suitable portion should be flooded with warm or summer water and leave for about 30–60 minutes. A new mixture should be introduced gradually through the 7–10 days, adjusting the daily amount to the weight, intensity of training and other elements of the horse's food dose.
