Hesta Mix Musli is a highly mineralized feed created for breeds with increased demand for micronutrients, especially for Frisian, Luzitan, Andalusian, cold-blooded and pure Arabian horses. Aromatic form of musla helps supplement the daily diet, supports good condition and proper appearance of skin, hair and hooves. It may be a suitable choice for people looking for feed for a horse with skin problems, allergies or mineral shortages.
Rich in zinc, copper, manganese, selenium and biotin formula helps to maintain a strong hoove horn, healthy skin and shiny fur. The manufacturer also recommends a mixture to animals prone to skin peeling, lumps, local alopecia, and severe insect bite reactions. Feed may be used as a supplement to feed based on hay and oats.
The composition includes, among others, lactose-fermented barley and maize flakes, alfalfa , dried grass, apple pulp and grape pulp, flaxseed, black caraway , fennel, cold-pressed oils, beer yeast, garlic and herbs such as mint, rosemary, thyme nettles and camomiles. The combination of fiber, oils, herbs and micronutrients supports the correct use of nutrients and the general vitality of the horse.
The ST.HIPPOLYT Hesta Mix Musli 20kg feed provides 11 MJ with digestible energy in kilograms and will work as a full-value blend for animals requiring support of skin, hair, hooves and mineral economy. The recommended daily dose is approximately 200–300 g per 100 kg body weight and should be divided into several smaller portions. At a lower dose, the manufacturer recommends an additional supplement to the diet with mineral-vitamin.
