Low glycemic index and moderate energy value help to maintain proper fitness while providing essential vitamins and minerals.
The formula contains a large amount of zinc, manganese, copper and selenium, thus supporting the condition of skin, hair and hooves. Appropriately balanced micronutrients help supplement nutritional deficiencies, which may manifest as skin peeling, alopecia, lump or hoove weakness. Feed may also be a valuable part of the diet of horses susceptible to skin reactions and inflammatory reactions following insect bites.
The composition includes, among others, lactose-fermented barley and maize flakes, wheat and oat bran, fruit pulp from apples and grapes, flaxseed, sunflower seeds, black caraway, alfalfa, dried beet pulp beetroot, beer yeast and a mixture of cold pressed oils. The addition of peppermint, fennel, coriander, thyme, rosemary, nettle, camomile and fenugreek spices the composition and supports the daily feeding of the horse.
Feed ST.HIPPOLYT Hesta Mix Musli Light Energy 20kg musli delivers 10 MJ digestible energy, 10% crude protein, 12% fibres, 6% fat, 12,7% starch and 8,7% sugar. It has been enriched with vitamins A, D3, E and vitamins B, biotin, folic acid, niacin and choline. Thanks to the high concentration of nutrients already a small portion helps supplement the daily dose of vitamins and minerals. The product is especially recommended to cougars and horses of breeds such as haflinger, Icelandic and fiord horse.
The recommended dosage is approximately 100–150 g feed for each 100 kg horse body weight. For a horse weighing 500 kg, this corresponds to a portion of about 0,5–0,75 kg per day.
