Vollwertpellets Light is a full-value grits without oats, especially designed for horses with a tendency to overweight and problems with maintaining normal body weight. Feed will work in recreational, working, grazing and wherever it is important to control the calorific value of the dose without giving up adequate levels of vitamins and minerals.
The recipe was designed to provide energy and nutrients without unduly increasing the energy value of the entire dose. It contains, among other things, wheat and oat bran, lactated barley and maize flakes, alfalfa, beet pulp beetroot and a mixture of oilseeds and poppies. This provides fiber, fat and protein, while at the same time can be used in horses requiring more controlled feeding.
The addition of herbs, including peppermint, thyme, rosemary, St John's wort, fennel, nettle, camomile and fenugreek, complements the recipe with natural plant components. The composition also includes beer yeast, malt and yeast blend and certified vegetable coal.
St. The hypopolyt Vollwertpellets Light provides 9,9 MJ with digestible energy per kilogram, contains 13% raw protein, 13% fiber, 4% fat and 19,5% starch and 4% sugar. Feed is also enriched with vitamins and trace elements, so with appropriate dosing it can fully cover the horse's mineral-vitamin demand.
The recommended daily dose is approximately 500–800 g product for each 100 kg horse's body weight. This quantity fully covers the mineral-vitamin demand. For a horse weighing 500 kg, this means about 2,5–4 kg feed per day. If Vollwertpellets Light is administered in a smaller quantity, the manufacturer recommends to supplement the diet with a suitable mineral-vitamin preparation, e.g. Daily Minerals. One litre of product weighs approximately 750 g.
