Kraut & Rüben Struktur is a grain-free blend for horses, designed to feed with reduced starch and sugar content. Thanks to its high fibre content, it can be suitable for overweight horses, prone to metabolic disorders and sensitive digestive system. It is a good choice for owners looking for feed without cereals, which feeds, supports digestion and does not provide an excessive amount of rapidly released energy.
Structural feed contains, among others, grasses and green plants, sunflower meal, linseed poppy, alfalfa, apple marc, carrots, oyster oil, beer yeast, and herbs such as nettles, dandelion and hawthorn. A large amount of fiber supports the colon flora and proper functioning of the digestive tract, while flax seeds provide valuable omega-3 acids.
Grain-free fodder JOSERA Kraut&Ruben Structure 15kg contains 3,3% starch, 4,9% sugar and 19,5% crude fibre. The addition of plant protein and essential amino acids helps maintain muscles, and zinc, copper and biotin help to take care of strong hooves, healthy skin and shiny hair. The formula is supplemented by vitamins, minerals and micronutrients needed in the daily feeding of the horse.
The mixture will be suitable for recreational horses, low and medium-working, easy to gain weight and animals requiring a diet with limited cereal content. It can be given as a hay supplement in quantities of approximately 150–400 g on 100 kg body weight per day, depending on activity and energy demand. At a dose lower than 2 kg per day, the manufacturer recommends additional mineral supplementation.
