Linseed coconut oil for horses is a combination of two valuable sources of fat, complementing the daily diet. The formula combines the properties of linseed oil, rich especially in omega-3 acids, with coconut oil containing medium chain fatty acids, including naturally occurring lauric acid.
Linseed oil is valued in the diet of horses primarily because of the high content of unsaturated fatty acids. It supports the proper condition of skin and hair, and also provides the ingredients needed for the proper functioning of the body. Naturally, Lignans present in the low are an additional component characteristic of this raw material.
Coconut oil is a source of medium chain fatty acids, which are easily used by the body as an energy source. It also contains lauric acid, a natural component of coconut oil.
The combination of these two oils provides concentrated energy derived from fat, so it can be a valuable addition to feeding older horses, horses in intensive training, young horses in the period of growth and animals with limited access to fresh grass. The fat in the food dose allows to increase its energy value without the need for a significant increase in the quantity of solid feed.
The oil is produced by cold pressing at temperatures not exceeding 38°C. Grains are mechanically pressed, without the use of chemicals and without refining. As a result, it retains naturally occurring fatty acids, vitamins and other nutrients in the raw materials.
Composition: Linseed oil pressed cold, coconut oil.
