The Mebio brand mix is a light, fruity musli for horses, which combines high tastyness with moderate energy value and high fibre content. It will work particularly well in horses with weaker appetite, nervous, easily "burning" as well as in animals during recovery and reduced immunity. It can be used as primary feed or as a supplement to daily feeding.
The composition includes, among others, Biofermented barley flakes, maize and oatmeal, chaff with alfalfa and grass, wheat and oat bran, flaxseed, sunflower, blackberry, beet pulp beetroot, dried apples, bananas and grapes, carrots, yeast, and linseed and sunflower oil pressed cold. Fruity aroma increases the taste of the mixture, so Mebio Frutti is also good for horses who are reluctant to take other feed.
The mixture contains 11,5% crude protein, 13% fiber, 5,5% fat and 9 MJ digestible energy per kilogram. The total starch and sugar content is below 30%. Feed also provides calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, zinc, manganese, copper, selenium, iron and vitamin A, D3, E and B vitamins, biotin, folic acid and choline.
Thanks to high fibre content and moderate energy supply, feed can help to properly digest, maintain good health and daily immunity of the body without excessive stimulation. In the case of phlegmatic horses, the manufacturer recommends combining Mebio Frutti with a more energetic sports mix. The MEBIO Frutti 20kg musli feed is ideal for picky, nervous and requiring light, tasty feed with a moderate energy value. It will work as a daily supplement to the diet, supporting digestion, fitness and immunity.
The recommended daily dose is about 0,5–1 kg feed per 100 kg horse's body weight, divided into three servings. The product may be used in full or combined with other feed. The exact amount is worth adjusting to the weight, condition, temperament and intensity of the horse's work.
