MEBIO Sport Pellet is a medium-energy, noow-free feed for horses working recreationally and sportingly. It combines the energy from cereals with the slower released energy from oils and fibers, helping to maintain efficiency and concentration throughout the training without excessive agitation. It is a good choice for people looking for granulate for a sports horse, feed without oats or feeding supporting a constant level of energy during a longer effort.
High-quality protein from sweet lupin and beer yeast provides the amino acids needed for development and regeneration of muscle tissue. Rice bran and a mixture of cold pressed oils support the maintenance of normal body weight, provide omega-3 and omega-6 acids and allow the protein to be used primarily to build muscles. The addition of vitamin E and selenium helps protect muscle cells from oxidative stress and supports regeneration after work.
The formula contains the red calcium algae Lithothamne, which act as a natural buffer of stomach acids. Thanks to this, MEBIO Sport Pellet can be tested in horses exposed to training stress and having a sensitive digestive system. There is no oats, molasses, alfalfa or soy in the composition, therefore feed may also be considered in feeding horses reacting to these ingredients.
The recipe includes barley and corn flakes, unmelasted beet pulp beetroot, rice bran, lupin, beer yeast, apple marc, garlic, fruit vinegar and linseed, sunflower, corn and coconut oils. Feed has 11,4 MJ digestible energy in kg, 12,1% protein, 6,5% fat and 4% sugar.
MEBIO Sport Pellet Feed 20kg The granules are especially intended for horses in need of improvement of muscle, better ridge line, stable energy and support for regeneration. It may be administered as the only fat feed, dry or after soaking. The recommended dose is 300–400 g au 100 kg weight with light training and 500–700 g au 100 kg body weight at mid or intensive work. The exact portion should be tailored to the condition, training load and the entire diet of the horse.
