Josera Kraut & Rüben Senior is a grain-free and melas-free* structural musli providing long, active horse life. Regenerative feed is specially adapted to the needs of old horses and takes into account the increased demand for essential amino acids, zinc, selenium and valuable vitamins. In particular, vitamin C – which older horses are no longer able to produce sufficiently – is important for the functioning of the immune system. The adjusted nutrient content in the feed for seniors also supports the maintenance of muscle and body weight using light-digested fibers and high quality plant proteins.

The Josera Kraut & Rüben Senior recipe has a reduced sugar and starch content and does not contain added sugar. This makes it ideal for older horses with metabolic problems. Josera Kraut & Rüben Senior is enriched with traditional herbs such as artichokes, spotty oysters, and hares, which are known for their beneficial properties.

Josera Kraut & Rüben Senior is also easy to chew and can be wet without any problems. It is therefore also suitable for horses with dental problems.

Feeding recommendations: When we use this product as the only feed to supplement a portion of hay: Depending on the level of activity, approx. 150 - 500 g on 100 kg body weight per day to meet energy needs. The amount of 2 kg or more per day is enough to meet the demand of a large horse for vitamins and minerals. With smaller nutritional portions, we recommend supplementation with Josera Joker Mineral or Josera Kraut & Rüben Mineral. 1 liter Josera Kraut & Rüben Senior = approx. 490 g.
Instructions for use: Due to the higher content of trace elements, compared to complete feedingstuffs, this complementary feed for horses may constitute a total daily ration to 50 %. Store in a dry and cool place. The information “Best use before” and the series number can be found on the side of the package.
