The Musli Krauter is a aromatic, noowsy musli for horses working, breeding and animals requiring variety of daily diets. The rich composition of herbs makes the fodder particularly good for horses with sensitive respiratory systems, exposed to dust or periodically crusting. Good taste can also encourage you to eat horses with a weaker appetite.
The composition includes lactose-fermented barley and corn flakes, wheat and oat bran, a mixture of cold-pressed oils from linseed, sunflower and black cumin, apple marc, hay, beer yeast, cereal sprouts, marine algae and garlic. The formula is supplemented by mint, rosemary, dill, camomile and herbal extract. Linseed and yeast support the proper digestion and functioning of the large intestine, while herbal composition provides valuable support for the airways.
Feed ST.HIPPOLYT Hippovet Krauter 20kg musli contains 9,5% crude protein, 7% fiber, 5,5% fat and provides 12 MJ digestible energy per kilogram. Feed has been enriched with calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, zinc, manganese, copper, selenium and iron, as well as vitamins A, D3, E, B2 and B6, biotin, folic acid and niacin. It can thus be a valuable supplement to the feeding of horses in regular work.
The recommended daily portion is approximately 250–400 g feed for each 100 kg the horse's body weight, depending on the intensity of work, body weight and individual needs. The product can be combined with oats, but the manufacturer then recommends an additional supplement to the diet with mineral-vitamin preparation. For horses with RAO/COPD Kräuter Musli may be administered in conjunction with Mucolyt and PreAlpin Wiesencobs in wet.
