Hoof Aid Special is a concentrated preparation for horses with problematic, fragile and poor quality hooves. The formula was designed to promote the proper growth, structure and strength of the hooved horn. The manufacturer emphasizes that with very weak hooves, biotin alone may not be sufficient, therefore the Cavalor brand supplement combines it with sulphuric amino acids, zinc, copper, yeasts, B vitamins and other essential ingredients for building healthy hooves.
The high content of methionine and MSM provides the sulphur compounds needed to form keratin, which is the primary building block of the hoof horn. Biotin helps maintain the proper quality and growth of the hooves, while zinc and copper participate in processes related to the formation and regeneration of hoove tissue. The formula is supplemented by lysine, vitamin C, B vitamins and yeast products. Thanks to such a wide composition of Cavalor Hoof Aid Special it will work well as a supplement for brittle, cracking, slow growing and weakened hooves.
The manufacturer recommends giving 50 g daily to ponies and 150 g daily to horses, with one scoop corresponding to 100 g product. The maximum daily amount is 420 g per horse. Due to the slow growth of the hoove wall, the supplement should be used for a long time so that a new, better-quality horn can gradually replace the older part of the hoove.
Composition: wheat bran, meal from alfalfa, calcium carbonate, husked and heat-treated wheat, methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), yeast products, sugar cane molasses, vegetable palm oil.
