The Nuba Equi musli is a high-caloric, grain-free feed for animals requiring special care for the digestive system and metabolism. It was developed for horses with a tendency to stomach ulcers, metabolic disorders, and brawl. The recipe does not contain cereals, their by-products or alfalfa, and the very low starch level of 1,9% and the content of simple sugars at the level of 6,9% make the feed fit well in the feeding of horses sensitive to excess starch and sugar.
The formula is based on ingredients with high fat and fiber content, so Nuba SunGastro Musli provides free released, easily absorbed energy without having to base the dose on cereals. A large number of fibrous components prolongs the chewing time of the feed and increases salivary secretion, which naturally helps to buffer the acidic environment of the stomach. The fiber also supports the proper operation of further sections of the digestive tract and promotes the maintenance of digestive comfort.
High yeast and increased probiotics support normal intestinal microflora, which is particularly important in horses with gastric problems. Yeasts provide B vitamins and exogenous amino acids, helping to improve the use of protein in the body and support recovery in horses having difficulty maintaining weight. Biogen®K used in feed contains lyophilised microorganisms selected for the horse's gastrointestinal tract.
Natural vegetable fats present in the feed are a source of unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, which support the proper condition of the gastrointestinal mucosa and natural anti-inflammatory processes of the body. The addition of methionine and bentonite supports the functioning of the liver, while the combination of yeast, probiotics and well-absorbed fiber promotes better use of both solid and volumetric feed.
NUBA EQUI SunGastro Musli 20kg is a mixture for ulcerated, metabolic, nutritionally sensitive horses and requiring additional support from the digestive system. Thanks to high energy value, it can also be used in lean or working animals that need more energy without increasing the share of cereals in the diet. When used in accordance with the recommended dosage, the manufacturer indicates that feed does not require additional general vitamin-mineral supplementation.
