HippoVet Sports Musli is a no-hose fodder for sports horses and regular workers, designed to provide the energy needed during training and competition season. Moderate protein content helps to reduce the risk of its excessive supply, therefore the mixture may be a good choice for people looking for feed for a sports horse, which supports the form and work of muscles without unnecessary weighting of the diet.
The composition includes, among others, lactose-fermented barley and maize flakes, alfalfa, wheat bran, beet pulp beetroot, dried grass, apples, beer yeast and a mixture of cold-pressed oils. The addition of vitamins A, C and E and selenium supports cell protection against oxidative stress and proper muscle work during exercise.
The musli does not contain the addition of oats or herbs, so it will also work in horses that do not tolerate herbal mixtures or require a more peaceful source of energy. It can be used as a basic feed material or as a supplement to a daily portion of oats. It is dedicated to horses of different disciplines, especially used in jumps and dressage.
The ST.HIPPOLYT Hippovet Sports Muslim 20kg feed provides 12 MJ with digestible energy in kilograms and contains 10% protein, 8,3% fiber and 5% fat. The recommended daily dose is approximately 500–700 g on 100 kg body weight and at this level of administration covers the mineral-vitamin requirement. The exact portion should be adjusted to the horse's condition, the intensity of the operation and the entire food dose.
