Glyx-Mash is a tasty blend without added cereals, molasses, soy and alfalfa. Thanks to the low glycemic index and the low starch and sugar content, it will be particularly suitable for overweight horses, after shedding, during recovery, and in animals that tolerate grain poorly in the diet. It can be used regularly as an additional, light-stable meal to support proper digestion and bowel work.
The formula includes, among other things, dried chaff with grass, beet pulp beetroot, beer yeast, apple-vinyl pulp, linseed, sunflower, carrot, and a mixture of herbs with Italian fennel, sprat, chamomile and fenugreek. The high fibre content and the addition of prebiotic ingredients contribute to maintaining a normal intestinal microflora and good functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
Mash ST.HIPPOLYT Glyx-Mash 15kg contains 17% crude fibre, 10,9% proteins, 5% fat, 4% starch and 5,5% sugar. It also provides calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, zinc, manganese, copper, selenium and vitamin A, D3, E and B vitamins. The energy value is 9,6 MJ digestible energy per kilogram, so mash can be a good choice for horses requiring a light and moderately energy diet.
The recommended daily serving is approximately 70–250 g product for each 100 kg horse's body weight. Mash should be flooded around 1,5 times more hot water and leave on 15 minutes. With cold water, the saturation time should be extended to approximately 30 minutes. The manufacturer recommends that 3–4 be administered once a week as an additional meal or as a substitute for one portion of solid feed.
