Anti-Stress is a herbal sedative supplement for nervous horses, hyperactive and strongly stress-responsive. The formula supports quieting, helps reduce nervous tension and helps the animal to function more calmly in demanding situations such as transport, changing stables, competitions, intensive training or separation with horse friends. The product contains 40% mixtures of herbs, which include valeriana, lemon balm, lavender, martyr flower, St John’s wort, peppermint, haze, rosemary, oyster and taiga root. The recipe is supplemented by magnesium, hops, oilseeds, yeast, lactated barley flakes, cold pressed oils and B vitamins. This combination supports the proper functioning of the nervous system, helps reduce muscle tone and promotes better handling of stress stimuli.
The ST.HIPPOLYT Anti-Stress 3kg granule supplement can be used in horses that are easily frightened, have difficulty concentrating, suffer travel poorly or react with anxiety to new surroundings. The herbal-magnesium formula supports the quieting without the need to reach for strong-acting agents, and a fine granules facilitates the accurate mixing of the supplement with feed. It can also help digestion in horses with stress associated with flatulence, diarrhoea, colic or decreased appetite.
The recommended daily dose is approximately 10–20 g on 100 kg body weight. One scoop contains approximately 110 g of the product. In the case of sports horses, the manufacturer recommends stopping the preparation on 2–3 days before the competition or using another product intended for use during take-off during this period.
